BATESVILLE  –  May 23, 2013  –  Citizens Bank recently hosted a luncheon to honor area high school valedictorians and their sponsors.  Bank President and Chief Executive Officer John Dews (at right in each photo) congratulated the students and presented them with miniature versions of diplomas to be distributed to every graduate at each school.  The “mini diplomas” have become a tradition for Citizens Bank.  Attending the luncheon were:

BATESVILLE – May 20, 2013 – Cynthia Mott, a Special Education Paraprofessional at Batesville High School, was named today as the May recipient of the “Citizens Bank Above & Beyond Award.”  Citizens Bank and the Batesville School District created the award to recognize school staff members who go “above and beyond” in their service to the district. 

Personnel throughout all schools nominate recipients of the monthly Above and Beyond award, which includes a certificate from the Board of Education and a $50 gift card from Citizens Bank. 

Citizens Bank Sponsors ‘Batesville Appreciation Day’ at Arkansas Travelers Baseball Game on May 19

BATESVILLE – May 10, 2013 – All Citizens Bank locations in Batesville are distributing 1,000 free tickets to “Batesville Appreciation Day” at the 2013 Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball game at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.  The Texas League game against the Springfield Cardinals will be played at Dickey-Stephens Park, which is located on the corner of West Broadway and the Broadway Bridge in North Little Rock. 

Citizens Bank Begins Third Year of Education Initiative; Makes $15,000 in Grants Available to Batesville Educators

Citizens Bank Launches 60th Anniversary Celebration

BATESVILLE – April 19, 2013 – Citizens Bank will launch a 60-day celebration of its 60th Anniversary on Tuesday, April 23 – 60 years after it opened for business in 1953.  Beginning at 2 p.m., the bank will host receptions at its Airport Road, Eagle Mountain, Main and St. Louis branches in Batesville, and in Cave City, Imboden, Mountain View and Pleasant Plains.

A ceremony will be held at the Main Bank to dedicate the Board Room as the “J. K. Southerland Board Room” and its art corridor as the “Josephine Raye Rogers Art Gallery.”

The improvements include colorful, eye-catching identity signs, several of which include state-of-the-art LED electronic message centers (see illustration).  All of the new signs will include a large four-foot depiction of Citizen’s Bank distinctive “CB” circular logo positioned at the top of a tall, streamlined pole sign, all of which are illuminated at night.

BATESVILLE – February 19, 2013 – Joyce Prickett (far right in photo) of Citizens Bank helps Joel Wagoner (from left), David Smith and Jeannie Wagoner stock the food closet at Harvest of Hope in Batesville.  The employees of Citizens Bank recently donated $500 to Harvest of Hope, which raises money each year to purchase food to fill backpacks for children in our local schools.  The donation will also help stock the food closet at the Batesville Pre-School to assist school children and their families during the summer when they don’t have access to meals provided at school.

Citizens for Downtown Batesville Provides Grant to Help Replace Schwegman’s Awning
