Southside High School to Dedicate ‘Citizens Bank Quad’

BATESVILLE – November 13, 2013 – Formal dedication ceremonies, including a ribbon cutting and a cookout, are scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 15, for the new “Citizens Bank Quad” on the campus of Southside High School. 

Citizens Bank is being honored with the name of the new facility by the Southside School District for providing the $15,000 in funds that have furnished the Quad, which is the centerpiece of a multi-phase improvement program at the high school. 

Batesville Preschool Food Pantry Gains Citizens Bank Employee Support

BATESVILLE – October 25, 2013 – The Batesville Preschool Food Pantry is the recipient of the most recent $500 donation from Citizens Bank employees through their “Blue Jean Friday” charitable contributions.  With the gift to the preschool food pantry, Citizens Bank employees now have surpassed $5,000 in “Blue Jean Friday” donations to worthwhile causes and organizations in the past year.  Each employee who donates $1 weekly is allowed to wear blue jeans to work on Fridays.

BATESVILLE – October 4, 2013 – As the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves golfers compete for the 2A Boys State Golf Tournament in Conway next Tuesday, they will step up to the tee box equipped with colorful golf bags provided this season by Citizens Bank.

Batesville and Southside golfers have likewise been sporting new bags and shirts that Citizens Bank has supplied.  The Pioneer and Southerners programs also benefited by $750 to each school from the proceeds of the 2013 Citizens Bank Seniors 18-Hole Two-Man Scramble, which was held in May.

Charolette Royal Expands Skills, Knowledge in Trust Services

BATESVILLE – September 27, 2013 – Charolette Royal, Corporate Trust Administrator with Citizens Bank, recently completed two state and national training schools to further her professional development in providing Trust services.

Royal graduated in July from the Arkansas State Trust School, which was a four-day program designed to provide a solid foundation and overview of Trust skills and topics.  The school was administered by the Arkansas Bankers Association.

Citizens Bank Helps Sulphur Rock Open New Library Media Center

BATESVILLE – September 9, 2013 – Sulphur Rock Magnet Elementary recently celebrated the opening of its new Library Media Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the school.

Using oversized scissors, Principal Stacey Lindsey and Library Media Specialist Lisa Horton cut the ribbon to officially open the new media center.  Also participating in the ceremony were representatives of the Batesville School District, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Citizens Bank, which provided more than $4,000 in grants to make the media center a reality.

Citizens Bank Helps Furnish Christian Health Center’s New Clinic

BATESVILLE – July 22, 2013 – The Citizens Bank recently donated office furniture that will allow the Christian Health Center to open a new clinic in Batesville by January 2014.

Christian Health Center provides medical services to uninsured members of the community, plus medicines and pastoral counseling.  Its goal is to offer comprehensive care by not only providing for the physical needs but also for the spiritual and emotional concerns.

Citizens Bank Associates Reach Milestone With ‘Help and Hope’ Donation

This latest donation increases to $4,000 the total amount of contributions that Citizens Bank employees have made to area charities through “Blue Jean Fridays” since last July.

Citizens Bank Continues Commitment to Professional Development

BATESVILLE – June 10, 2013 – Two Citizens Bank employees recently graduated from the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis.  Ken Emerson, Assistant Vice President Commercial Lender, and Janelle Shell, Business Development Officer, completed the three-year program, which included more than 40 hours of classroom instruction each year.
