I served as an Infantry Officer with 2-22 IN, 1/10 MTN (10th Mountain Division). I completed all of my training at Ft. Benning, GA. A couple of the additional schools I was able to attend were Airborne & SERE school. In 2013, I completed a 9-month deployment to Afghanistan. It wasn't fun, but it was a good experience.
Tell us a little about you.
A lot of my free time lately is spent doing nothing at home! I am also restoring my bass boat and that takes quite a bit of time. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and being outdoors.
What is your title with Citizens Bank and how long have you been a member of this team?
VP Centralized Underwriting. I have been with this team for about 3 years.
What does "Celebrate America" mean to you?
I usually think back to the two most pivotal conflicts in our country's history. The Revolutionary War and the Second World War. One conflict laid the foundation for America, the other one laid the foundation for the America we know today.
I also reflect on a lot of what it took to make our country. Think of the lyrics to the Star-Spangled Banner and what it took to write those lyrics and what it took to win that war.
Do you attend the Celebrate America riverside event? If so, what is your favorite part?
Since living in Northwest Arkansas I haven't been able to go to as many of the riverside events as I want to. I will say though, the fireworks are my favorite part. I haven't seen a better fireworks show in Arkansas anywhere..
