I started in the Arkansas National Guard with A Battery, 142nd Field Artillery Regiment out of Van Buren AR as a Fire Direction Control Specialist. With the 142nd I deployed in 2006 to Camp Patriot Kuwait.
In 2009 I transferred to active duty and reclassed to the Military Police. I got stationed in Fort Drum New York with the 543rd Military Police Battalion. With the 543rd I deployed to FOB Echo, Iraq in 2009 and then again to Jalalabad Afghanistan in 2012 as a squad leader.
Tell us a little about you.
After leaving the military I went back to school and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. I now serve as the Project Engineering Manager for FutureFuel Chemical. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jennifer, who is still serving in the Army Reserves and our two boys.
What is your title with FutureFuel and how long have you been a member of this team?

What does "Celebrate America" mean to you?
Celebrate America to me is finding that common ground between us all as Americans. Regardless of our differing stances, backgrounds, or ideologies we should be able to come together as a community for at least this one thing. The one tie that binds us all together and gives hope that though our differences we are what makes our country great.
Do you attend the Celebrate America riverside event? If so, what is your favorite part?
We enjoy coming to the park to see the different booths and activities. Our favorite part though is the fireworks display.
Share some of your Independence Day traditions with us:
Our Independence Day tradition revolves around spending time as a family. We typically cook out, shoot off some small fireworks, and then head to town to enjoy the festivities at the park. As the sun goes down we find a nice place to watch the firework show.
