Citizens Bank, Midland School District honor Cindy Dunn for 'Shining Like a Mustang'
Cindy Dunn, Secretary at Midland Elementary, was named Monday to receive the January “Citizens Bank Shine Like a Mustang Award.”
With this program, Citizens Bank and Midland School District recognize staff members who shine in their role as a Mustang to live out the district’s vision to engage learning at high levels and embrace challenges without fear of failure. Staff nominate the award recipients who receive a Certificate of Excellence, a $25 gift card, and a 16-ounce insulated cup from Citizens Bank. The award is presented at the Midland School Board meeting each month.
With a long tenure of service and support, Cindy truly exemplifies what it means to be a Mustang. One colleague said of her:
“There is no light that shines brighter in our school district than Cindy Dunn. Her dedication to the Midland School District is evident not only by the 25 years she has been in the district, but also her willingness to continue to support our teachers, staff, and students throughout each and every day. From her holiday costumes to her hugs and winks, Ms. Cindy is always looking for ways to help create smiles for others - students and adults. Every day of the year, Ms. Cindy Shines Like a Mustang.”
