What are you most excited about for the new role?
The new experiences and new opportunities.
What is your team like?
I am joining a new team but a team that I have gotten to work with before.
What would you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Completing the Edge program. I remember in my new hire orientation (which was my first day), we were told about the EDGE program. I thought there's no way I would ever get to the point to ever even be considered for it. I had no banking experience, and at that point I've not even been behind the teller line. Fast forward six years and I became a graduate of Edge!
What is one of the most valuable lessons you've learned while on the team?
We are all regular people doing the best we can. We make mistakes, and we learn.
What about your role drives your passion?
One of my favorite parts of leadership is the training and being a part of someone's journey into becoming a future leader. Here at Headquarters, I'll have that chance. There are already a few emerging leaders at Headquarters which gives me the opportunity to not only help them continue in that journey but maybe even learn something new myself.
Why, or how, did you choose to start in banking?
I was just looking for a job. I was applying for anything available and one of the jobs was a part time teller at Citizens Bank. They gave me a chance and at first, I wasn't so sure about it but once I started learning and meeting everyone, I knew this could and did become my career.

I make felt stuffed animals, or anything really that I can get or make a pattern for.
