If you went to college, where did you graduate? In what did you receive your degree?

At CTCA in Monroe, LA I earned an associate's degree in Computer Technology. Now I'm attending the University of Phoenix online for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Finance Planning.


How long have you been in banking? 

I've been in banking for 9 years now.


What is your official job title?

Universal Banker


How/Why did you get into the banking industry?

I love people and wanted a career, not just a job.

 

What do people assume about your role that isn’t true?

Some people think banking is simple and easy.


What does Beyond A Banker mean to you? 

Beyond Banking means going beyond these four walls. Helping in your community. Doing volunteer work. I love our bank and it's motto: People First. That means helping a customer even when you're not on the clock.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

My passion right now is to finish school and show my girls that it doesn’t matter what age you are. You can always accomplish the goals you have set for your life. Never give up.

 

Where might we see you on the weekends?

Church, hair salon or even traveling.

Call Center

Grey’s Anatomy


When/Where are you the happiest?

In my car driving home from work. I love the 45-minute ride home by myself. That’s my "me" time.


Where is your favorite (local) place to eat? What is your go-to order?

Fiesta Linda. I order the chicken and steak miranda.


What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?

My two beautiful girls.


What special/interesting skill do you have that many might not know about?

I love to keep a journal about my life.

If you had a reality TV show of your life, what would it be called? 

Just Tosha


What is something you wish you would have known earlier in your career?

That rules and regulations change a lot in banking.

What woman in your own life has been an inspiration to you?

My grandmother was my shero.

 

What piece of advice would you give to other women in banking?

Just be yourself, stay true to yourself, and treat people how you want to be treated.
