Why did you choose to join the Banking Class? What is your favorite thing about it?
I had fun in my previous banking class, and I wanted to learn more about banking systems. My favorite thing so far is the training, which has been both fun and interactive.
How is financial literacy important in your life?
When you leave high school, you at least know about financial stuff for your adult life. Financial literacy is important to me because I am just now stepping into the world of finances and will soon be fully immersed in financial items and questions that I would not understand were it not for the financial literacy training we went through.
What does Beyond a Banker mean to you?
Beyond a Banker, to me, means going beyond the face at the teller window. It involves knowing the person who greets a new customer and makes every attempt to complete their request and make them smile in the process.
What are you passionate about outside of school?
I am passionate about reading and writing.
Where might we see you on the weekends?
Working or spending time with family.
What is your dream job?
Politician.
What show(s) are you currently binge-watching?
Band of Brothers and Suits.
When/Where are you happiest?
Spending time and messing around with my friends.
Where is your favorite (local) place to eat?
Colton’s.
What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
The want to do better than I did yesterday.
What special/interesting skill do you have that many might not know about?
I have an odd amount of knowledge about history.
If you had a reality TV show of your life, what would it be called?
A Terrific Coincidence.
What is something you wish you would have known earlier in your high school career?
It’s probably going to be a little easier on you if you remember to study the night before a test.
