BATESVILLE – June 6, 2013 – The columns are going up and the final design is taking shape at Wood-Lawn Nursing Home’s new facility at 2800 Neeley Street.
Looking over the blueprints were Mark Fortson (left), job foreman for Alessi Keyes Construction Co., and Robin Brock, Senior Vice President of Citizens Bank, which led the financing for the new building. Brock also serves as Chairperson of the Board of Wood-Lawn.
Construction is scheduled for completion in about one month on the new $14 million, 83,000-square-foot state-of-the-art nursing home. It is expected to be open in early August.
Wood-Lawn, which has about 120 patient beds in its current location, will be able to accommodate 140 patients in the new facility, Brock said.About The Citizens Bank
