BATESVILLE – August 16, 2013 – All Citizens Bank locations in the Batesville area are distributing 1,000 free general admission tickets to a “Batesville Appreciation Night” at the Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball game at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 31.
“We hope everyone will show their pride in Batesville and enjoy a wonderful family outing with free tickets from Citizens Bank,” said John Dews, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Drop by any of our locations in Batesville, Cave City and Pleasant Plains and pick up your tickets.”
Megan Watson of Batesville will sing the National Anthem before the game. Megan is a Customer Service Representative at Citizen’s Bank branch in downtown Batesville. She is a respected singer who has sung the National Anthem prior to many sporting events.
The Travelers’ Texas League game against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals will be played at Dickey-Stephens Park, located on the corner of West Broadway and the Broadway Bridge in North Little Rock. The Naturals are a minor league affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
The Travelers have been the Class AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim since 2001. The “Travs” have been a farm club for eight other Major League teams since their founding in 1901, including the St. Louis Cardinals (1966-2000).
