BATESVILLE – May 10, 2013 – All Citizens Bank locations in Batesville are distributing 1,000 free tickets to “Batesville Appreciation Day” at the 2013 Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball game at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 19. The Texas League game against the Springfield Cardinals will be played at Dickey-Stephens Park, which is located on the corner of West Broadway and the Broadway Bridge in North Little Rock.

The Travelers have been the Class AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim since 2001. The “Travs” have been a farm club for eight other Major League teams, including the St. Louis Cardinals (1966-2000), Baltimore Orioles, Boston Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City A’s and Philadelphia Phillies.
Citizens Bank will also help sponsor and offer free tickets to a second “Batesville Appreciation Day” game at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 31.
