Citizens Bank Seniors Golf Tournament to Benefit Area High School Golf Teams

BATESVILLE – April 25, 2014 – Today is the deadline to enter the Citizens Bank Seniors 18-Hole Two Man Scramble, which is scheduled to be held Friday, May 2, at the Batesville Municipal Golf Course.  Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the golf programs at Batesville, Southside and Cedar Ridge high schools.

The minimum age for competitors is 50, with the flights to be based on the lowest age of team members.  The tournament is limited to the first 27 teams.  Enter by contacting Robert Harmon at 870-698-2431.

Last year, Citizens Bank donated $750 each to the Batesville and Southside golf teams; this year’s field of benefiting teams has been expanded to include Cedar Ridge High School.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Friday, May 2, with a shotgun start.  If weather interferes, the rain date will be Friday, May 9.
