BATESVILLE – March 15, 2013 – The Citizens Bank today announced a substantial investment in several of its branches, which are receiving major facility upgrades.
The improvements include colorful, eye-catching identity signs, several of which include state-of-the-art LED electronic message centers (see illustration). All of the new signs will include a large four-foot depiction of Citizen’s Bank distinctive “CB” circular logo positioned at the top of a tall, streamlined pole sign, all of which are illuminated at night.
“At Citizens Bank, we are committed to reinforcing our position as the area’s leading independent community bank,” said John Dews, President and Chief Executive Officer. “This major investment in our branches is the latest but most visible demonstration of our intention to remain Solid Citizens in each of our communities.”
New signs are to be erected at the bank’s Airport, Eagle Mountain, Imboden, Main, Mountain View and Pleasant Plains branches. Additional improvements will include new complementary signage at these and additional branches to more consistently and effectively identify the bank on building facades, more clearly communicate operating hours on the doors, and updating directional signs on bank property.
The new LED electronic message centers will graphically and colorfully communicate details about community events in the area. Groups and organizations that want their event displayed on the new signs can call 870-698-6380.
The new signs were designed and manufactured by Cupples Sign Co. of Paragould. The electronic message centers were developed by Daktronics, one of the world’s largest suppliers of digital billboards, electronic scoreboards, computer-programmable displays, large screen video displays and control systems. Daktronics also designed a new integrated video display system for the Convocation Center at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
